Raleigh Talus Carbon Pro SRAM 1×10

This bike is my cross country geared race bike.  It has a twin sister that is a single speed version of the same bike.  This one features a 1×10 XX group with one exception: The rear derailleur is XO with clutch, a feature not available in XX.  This setup is essentially the 10 speed version of the new XX1 11 speed group from SRAM.  I’m running a Rotor 34t Q-ring up front and KMC hollowpin chain. Wheels are American Classic Race 29s, brakes are Hayes Prime, fork is Manitou Tower Pro with remote lock, crank is RaceFace Evolve, seatpost is Thompson Elite, and bars are Easton Monkey Lite Carbon.  Tires are Kenda Karma 1.9″ and running tubeless.  Pedals are Xpedo titanium.

Raleigh 1x10 - 1
The bike weighs in just under 21 pounds ready to ride and there still a few places to save weight. Front end is stiffened by the tapered steerer, the 15mm through axle, and the rear is stiffened by Raleigh’s 142mm x 12mm through axle. This build truly goes where you point it, has zero flex under power or hard cornering, and just plain rides great. Can you say, “Sweet!”?
